Chyna Lily (Chills) is a fourth-generation metalworker. Her practice moves between jewellery, film photography and generational research
- exploring family history and the stories we inherit. Through Chills, she creates custom jewellery in Aotearoa, New Zealand,
while her wider practice is rooted in a curiosity for lineage, femininity and place.
Chills is the featured artist in THE POST this month, with her AURORA cyanotype print.
The cyanotype process was chosen for its history and relationship to astronomers and botanists, offering a unique way to present Chills’ jewellery.

THE POST began with our founder sending letters to friends overseas, as a way to stay connected. Filling each one with artworks & handwritten notes.
Each letter built a foundation for Otto Studios: creating tangible work made to be saved, framed,
or passed along.
What began with making things thoughtfully by hand, evolved into a practice of staying connected through art.
Now, it’s yours.
Each month, we print a new artwork and send it straight to your door.
Pre-orders open on the 1st of each month and close on the 20th.
We print each drop in small batches, keeping every edition limited and considered. It’s our way of creating thoughtfully while avoiding unnecessary waste.
